I’m Tamar, a passionate Hebrew educator with extensive experience teaching students of diverse ages and backgrounds. With a master’s degree in Special Education, I have developed unique expertise in adapting lessons to different learning styles, ensuring that acquiring the Hebrew language is accessible to everyone—whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to strengthen your skills and gain a deeper understanding of the language’s structure.
Having taught in day schools, after-school programs, day camps, ulpan, and private settings, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. I also went through the process of learning two foreign languages from scratch. I know the feeling of excitement, confusion and curiosity that follow.
My approach is engaging, structured, and personalized to meet each student’s needs. My goal is not just to help you learn Hebrew, but to help you think in Hebrew—fostering confidence, fluency, and a deep connection to the language.
Join me on this journey, and let’s make Hebrew a part of your everyday life!
Growing up in a multilingual home, I’ve always had a love for
languages. I speak both Hebrew and English, and as an adult, I’ve gone on to learn other languages. This has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to learn a new language, and I bring that experience to my teaching—providing learners with techniques and strategies to retain vocabulary and apply their skills in real-life situations.
Whether you’re planning to make Aliyah, want to understand prayers, read Torah in Hebrew, or simply want to watch Israeli TV shows without subtitles—or if your dream is to become fluent in modern Hebrew—I can help you get there. I understand the frustrations that come with the learning process, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
